SKYLER'S BIO
Skyler Ray Jones was born on August 14, 1996, in Jeffersonville, Indiana to parents Greg and Dianna Jones.
Raised in the small town of Madison, IN, Skyler is the youngest in the Jones family with three sisters. While living in Madison, Skyler grew up influenced by country music. He then moved to Jeffersonville with his dad, who listened to KISS, Sweet, and other hard rock bands that Skyler soon fell in love with and wanted to learn to play it.
At a very young age Skyler would toy around with his dad’s childhood acoustic guitar and would never put it down. Soon after, Greg finally bought Skyler his first guitar, a Washburn Paul Stanley PS80, for Christmas. Skyler then began teaching himself many little songs and tunes. Then he shocked many people. He went from playing scales and “Mary Had a Little Lamb” to playing the rock band KISS’s Ace Frehley’s solos note for note!
While playing Ace’s solos and trying to copy his unique playing style, Skyler began to develop a unique style and sound of his own. A very unique and crisp “Old School” tone mixed with a modern metal punch!
Off stage, Skyler is the typical all American teenage boy. He loves to have fun, party, be stubborn, and be with friends.
